I tuned up to try out the new @tuneupchicago in Avondale. This auto shop turned bar has just opened and I am here to โreflectโ upon my night out there. There were plenty of mirrors for me to touch up before I hit up the Photo Booth. @itsrebeccainthecity joined me and ordered up a Roxy- rhubarb gin, Aperol, cucumber syrup and lemon juice. While I enjoyed a Dead Beat Beet with Los Vecinos mezcal, Goddard Ginger of the Indies, Supasawa, lemon juice, beet syrup and celery bitters. But once I was served up a Spicy Boy I knew others were having โfoam-oโ when they saw that bubbly crown on top of my cocktail. That Spicy Boy is made with el Jimador blanco tequila, lime juice, Griffard Caribbean Pineapple, and chili hibiscus syrup.
