21st April 2026 — the premiere of the East London Palestine Solidarity Archive.
A living, breathing record of resistance, community, and truth — captured through the lens of James Whitaker.
Now open for a limited time at Four Corners 📍 121 Roman Rd, London E2 0QN
Rooted in solidarity with Palestine — unapologetically, unflinchingly — this archive centres those voices, those streets, those moments of collective resistance.
But look closer, and you’ll see how solidarity travels.
Echoes of Ukraine. Congo. Sudan.
Different struggles, shared humanity.
There are frames pulled straight from the waterways too — along canals and narrow boats, where community lives differently but stands just as strong.
Faces you might recognise. Places you already know.
Small acts. Big meaning.
From quiet gestures to bold defiance — this is what solidarity looks like when it’s lived, not just spoken.
Go down. Stand in it. Feel it.
Buy a print. Support the work. Show love.
All proceeds go to Medical Aid for Palestinians.
This isn’t just an exhibition.
It’s connection. It’s resistance. It’s a reminder — none of us are free until all of us are.

The launch of An East London Palestine Solidarity Archive — a space holding hundreds of moments, memories, and acts of resistance.
This is just one shot: Peckham Keffiyeh.
If you can’t say it, you should say it.
Every image tells a story of people standing up, speaking out, and refusing to look away. The artist — a boater — brings that same spirit from the waterways into this archive. Movement, community, and resistance flow together.
As a community of boaters, we stand clear:
No to genocide.
Free Palestine.
Intifada.
From the canals to the streets — solidarity lives here.

We are excited to announce that our @falmouthphotographyonline MA exhibition Ties That Bind will take place @fourcornerse2 in London, from 27th-31st May - 🗓️ Save the date!
Ties That Bind is a joint exhibition by @its.emma.collins and @sharrongibson_ … it brings together two distinct yet connected explorations of family, belonging and the emotional charge of domestic space.
Emma transforms the family home into a site of uncanny possibility in The Snail and the Mannequin. Through carefully constructed photographic scenes, ordinary rooms become unsettled and strange, exploring non-belonging, estrangement and the experience of seeing the world from an off-centre perspective.
While in LoveyouBye, Sharron reflects on motherhood through repeated acts of separation. Photographing her daughter leaving for school, alongside treasured objects from childhood and images of blood, she explores maternal attachment, memory, and the emotional weight of everyday routines. The blood images return the work to the body, evoking birth, connection, and change.
Together, the works ask us to look again at home, not as a fixed place of comfort but as a complex psychological and emotional landscape. Across both practices, family is understood as a space of intimacy and tension, connection and distance, where love, discomfort, and difference are closely intertwined.
🗓️Weds 27th to Saturday 31st May 2026 Open 11.00 - 18.00 daily

Please support the crowdfund to publish a book of the magnificent portraits of WOMEN AT WORK taken by photographer Sarah Ainslie since 1992.
Click on link in bio @thegentleauthor to learn more and contribute.
Sarah celebrates the contribution of female labour in exuberant photographs that capture the passion and struggle of the working life, forming a panoramic survey of social change over four decades.
“My pictures are a testament to the indomitable spirit of women whose work is often unrecognised, whether in factories, working from home or caring for the vulnerable – tradeswomen, community organisers, garment workers, faith leaders, artists, firefighters, shopkeepers, transport workers, cleaners and NHS staff, women who are catering, and many more who sustain and bind together communities with their warmth, labour and fellowship.
The process of searching and building relationships with the women who participate has been an adventure, and these photographs are a celebration of the generosity of these women who welcomed me into their working lives.
It means so much to me and will be an important recognition of all the women I have photographed over the years for this book to be published by Spitalfields Life Books, a perfect home for it.”
Sarah Ainslie
Please help us publish a handsome 200 page hardback to honour the work of these women who shape the fabric of our lives. We are organising a major exhibition of these portraits at the Four Corners photography gallery in Bethnal Green to coincide with publication of the book this autumn.
