This week all of Four attended the @le_australasia conference, UNLEASH. A WILD 3 days of deep thinking, creativity, inspiration and learning to bring to our Education and nurturing environment projects. Including a breakout session lead by Andrew Thomas and @cathfitz_ot : Mapping Play, Designing Possibilities: A Collaborative Journey to an Adventure Hub.
Post 2 - The @_kolbecatholiccollege Gym Hall and Sports Arena involved the masterplanning, design and delivery of a major new sporting facility within an operational school campus. Replacing outdated hardcourts and an undersized gymnasium, the project delivered a contemporary double-court arena with durable, high-use amenities designed to support a growing school community.
Delivered as part of a broader staged redevelopment, the project strengthened campus connections, improved circulation and enhanced links between learning areas and sporting precincts. The facility includes multi-purpose courts for basketball, netball, badminton and assemblies, alongside changerooms, a fitness centre, PE office, commercial kitchen and canteen, and connected outdoor gathering spaces. Designed around intuitive movement, operational efficiency and long-term durability, the project creates an active and connected hub for school life.

We’re excited to welcome Shea Hatch to Four Landscape as our new Principal Landscape Architect.
Shea brings over 20 years of experience shaping some of Western Australia’s most significant public realm projects, including the Scarborough Foreshore Redevelopment, Ocean Reef Marina and the Subi East Masterplan. A registered landscape architect and 2025 AILA Fellow, her work is grounded in equitable, evidence-based design, with a strong focus on public health, environmental systems and culturally responsive outcomes.
Known for leading complex, multidisciplinary projects, Shea adds depth to our capability across large-scale masterplanning, community-focused design and contract delivery.
Her arrival marks an exciting step for our team as we continue to expand the scope and diversity of our work, building new partnerships and exploring broader opportunities across the public realm.
We are pleased to welcome our newest addition, Landscape Architect, Greta Hollows to the team. With a background in horticulture and environmental management, Greta brings a thoughtful, holistic approach to design, with a particular interest in landscapes that support learning, accessibility and environmental education. Her experience across master planning, design and construction, combined with a focus on mental health, ecology and inclusive use of space, adds a valuable perspective to our team.
