On Friday 24 + Saturday 25 April 2026: Foundscape Orchestra – Klankexpeditie NS Station Roosendaal Experience NS Station Roosendaal in a completely different way. Come and listen to the station as it is transformed into a living audiovisual composition. During the evenings of April 24 and 25, visitors can book a 30-minute time slot via the link (in bio) and enter NS Station Roosendaal, where part of the trainstation will be transformed into an immersive audiovisual experience. Moving through the space, visitors encounter a live performance in which the station itself is played as an instrument by a collection of sound sculptures, mechanical instruments and a live mix of field recordings that were made on location by guest artist Marieke van de Ven. Erfgoedspektakel Brabant op NS-station Roosendaal Op 24 en 25 april verandert Foundscape Orchestra de leegstaande voormalige wachtruimtes van het NS-station Roosendaal in een unieke audiovisuele ervaring. Met een mechanisch orkest van klanksculpturen en zelfontwikkelde instrumenten worden treingeluiden getransformeerd tot een muziekstuk. Op vrijdagavond 24 en zaterdagavond 25 april start tussen 20:00 en 22:00 uur start elk half uur een show. Er is per voorstelling ruimte voor maximaal 50 bezoekers. De Klankexpedities vinden plaats links naast de hoofdingang van het NS Station Roosendaal. Voor de shows is reserveren verplicht. Een kaartje kost € 9,50 en € 7,50 voor deelnemers van de VriendenLoterij. De voorstelling is minder geschikt voor kinderen onder de 10 jaar. Link in de bio!

Here is the full documentation movie from our Foundscape Orchestra: Klankexpeditie in Sodafabriek Schiedam from last November! We took the whole operation to this unique building in Schiedam with multiple floors and several rooms, and gigantic soda silos and developed a meandering experience for people to immersive themselves in. The audience could walk around and discover the former soda factory and listen to all the nooks and crannies this building had to offer... We played the Sodafabriek with our team Jaap Mutter @jaaptojo , Jasper Schütz @actodisko , and Daniel Maalman @danielmaalman and guest musicians Invisible Ralf @ralf_invisible and Görkem Arikan @arikangorkem We are looking forward to the next location, more info will follow soon! Here are some first glances from our Foundscape adventures in Sodafabriek Schiedam, last November! Looking back on an intense but fantastic week of building, performing and a lot of experiments in the epic (and cold) Biesboschhal in Dordrecht. We tried new things that weren’t possible before in other locations, and ran into technical issues that forced us to improvise, but learned a lot! In the end we performed two of the most interesting shows until now, with the help of guest musicians Amit Palgi and Matteo Traverso. We recorded everything, filmed everything with the help of Adriaan Augustijn, scanned the building with the help of Lodewijk Luijt, and we will develop all the materials we harvested into something special in the near future… This was the last location we Foundscaped in 2025, but we are already making plans for new shows in 2026, after a little winter break! Wie ooit in de Biesboschhal is geweest, weet dat het een indrukwekkend gebouw is. Maar heb je er ooit bij stilgestaan welke geluiden en verhalen er allemaal schuilgaan achter dit bijzondere erfgoed? Tijdens een unieke voorstelling op 28 en 29 november is dat precies wat je gaat ontdekken. De voorstelling Klankexpeditie Biesboschhal van geluidskunstenaar Daniel Maalman, van Foundscape Orchestra, wordt gemaakt met een immersieve klank- en lichtinstallatie. Hierin smelten geluid, ruimte en erfgoed samen. Zo komt het gebouw letterlijk tot leven – een interactieve voorstelling zoals je niet eerder hebt meegemaakt. Op zowel vrijdag- als zaterdagavond is er om 20.00 uur een performance door Daniel Maalman en Jaap Mutter (Tojo). ‘Klankexpeditie Biesboschhal’ is onderdeel van het erfgoedspektakel, een reizend feest van verbinding en verwondering waarbij culturele makers aan iconische gebouwen worden gekoppeld. 28 + 29 November - Foundscape Orchestra: Klankexpeditie Biesboschhal Dordrecht Foundscape Orchestra is moving to the third location in a series of five, in which maritime cultural heritage buildings are transformed into an audiovisual immersive experience during one weekend only. After the Quarantine Station in Rotterdam and Sodafabriek Schiedam, we now start the transformation of Biesboschhal Dordrecht, which will be open to the public on friday the 28th + saturday the 29th of November, during two extra large shows. We invited two guest artists again, to perform with the building together with our core crew Jaap Tojo (@jaaptojo ), Jasper Schütz (@actodisko ) and Daniel Maalman. Guest artists Amit Palgi (@amit.palgi ) and Matteo Traverso (@trawe94 ) will perform together with us on both days. Amit is a performer and his movements in the space will be translated into sounds that are controlled and added by guest musician Matteo to the live composition of Foundscape Orchestra.
