62,000 trees later 🥹 (2017 summer before planting to this July 2024 🫶🏽) So many communities, volunteers, partnerships, and friends came together with the right support to make this real! Pictured here is a snapshot of a few years of restoration work by the Yangil and Banawen Communities of Zambales ✊🏽 A new forest in our lifetime is here 🌬️ A big thank you to @onetreeplanted@biotenphilippines , and our lawyer groups (who have continued helping us fight!) for the continuous support for our home.
In 2017, @madtravel_ph started work with the Yangil and Banawen Communities, offering tours for more of us to come join in the reforestation efforts! MAD travel started it off with 20k trees before @forthefutureph was born from joining one of their tours!🦋 we started working together ever since!
To join in on planting, head over to @madtravel_ph or email us at [email protected] for partnerships, programs, and volunteer opportunities! To donate or imagine new avenues for change, head to the @forthefutureph website or email us at [email protected] 🦋 We’d love to collaborate with you!

A year ago, when we asked the Mambagongon community what their dream was, they said a new motivating space for their kids to fully finish their education 🌀 Just last week, we finally turned that dream into a reality! 🫶🏽 Welcome to the @mambagongon Floating Library!!! ⛵️🛖✨
This is all part of our Sponsor a Student Program where we continue to support Indigenous Youth to reach their full potential and empower them through education and creativity to be the next generation of our archipelago’s leaders 💫
The Floating Library is an extension of so many people’s support for our youth! The infrastructure is fully equipped with:
💡 Solar Lights (as the community is off-grid)
⚡️ Solar Charging Station
📚 500 books and toys
💻 2 Laptops and a
🍉 Floating Garden (more on this soon!)
Thank you to our partners CB Andrew, Exypnox, and all the people who sent over the books for our students!! ✨ It’s all here because of all of you 🫶🏽

Sponsor a Student update 🥹 our 51 students in Lake Mambogongon in the Agusan Marsh have received the first batch of uniforms 🫶🏽 this is the first time the kids got to wear uniforms! and for that, we are so thankful to all of you who continue to support our program. We really believe in the potential and power of the kids— the next generations of guardians to these vital marshlands. 🦋 Biggest thank you to @mbtumarao too for being the best guardian to this shared dream 🌈
We’ll be updating more about the kids soon! You can learn more about Sponsor A Student thru the link on our bio ✨
2 years of our Sponsor a Student program with the students of @mambagongon ES! 🤧💚 Time flies so fast— we just celebrated our second graduation together last Saturday too!
We would also like to take this time to celebrate the support of CB Andrew who just completed their 2 years pledge to support the Lake Mambagongon community 🙏 Through their support, we were able to serve over 10,800 nutritious meals, lovingly prepared by the teachers and mothers of the community 🥳🍛🍳🍎🥔🍜🥝🍉🥒🥕🌽🥬🍚🥙 this helped support 54 students from malnutrition, as well as renovate the floating school, build the floating library and garden, and equip the infrastructure with solar lights and fans! Efforts recognized by DepEd CARAGA through recognition for Ma’am Del, our head teacher.
Here is our final report for all the impact together 🏋️ For new partnerships, send us an email at [email protected] ✨ We can’t wait to continue the work!
In celebration of World Wetlands Day, themed “Wetlands and Traditional Knowledge: Celebrating Cultural Heritage,” PAMO–Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, in collaboration with @forthefutureph@issabarte.art@raphgalvez , @mambagongon , and RHU La Paz-Agusan del Sur, conducted a medical mission at Lake Mambagongon—home to the Agusanon Manobo tribe in the Agusan Marsh—to provide essential health services to the community. This activity was one of the key initiatives led by PAMO–AMWS in spearheading the national World Wetlands Day celebration, together with various partner agencies and stakeholders.
The medical mission highlighted that human well-being is an integral component of wetland conservation, emphasizing the vital and inseparable connection between healthy communities and the ecosystems that sustain them. By addressing basic health needs and strengthening community resilience, the activity demonstrated how investing in people supports traditional knowledge, encourages environmental stewardship, and contributes to the long-term protection and sustainable management of wetlands.

It will be done in collaboration with the Aetas of Sitio Yangil, in their home with the mountains of Zambales, Philippines
just the beginning! more to come

We wanted to share the outcome of this effort and say thank you.
In November, Commonwealth and adidas made the decision to redirect our collaborative Forum release toward typhoon recovery efforts across the Visayas.
Through the release itself, together with marketing budgets reallocated from this and other 2025 projects, a total of ₱1,030,000.00 was raised.
This entire amount will be donated to our partners, For The Future and Waves For Water Philippines.
These funds are being used to support both immediate relief and longer-term rebuilding work in Cebu, Negros, and nearby communities affected by the typhoons.
We are grateful to our team for pushing this forward, and to everyone who took part by supporting the release. Thank you as well to the adidas team for the trust and urgency they brought to this, helping turn a moment into meaningful support.
On December 3, our guests and teams across Standard Hospitality Group came together for Dine for a Cause.
Through the participation of 35 restaurants, we raised ₱962,271.43 to support communities affected by Typhoons Tino, Uwan, and Verbena. These funds are being carried forward by our partners at For the Future and Tukod Foundation, supporting ongoing relief and long-term rebuilding efforts.
Thank you to our guests for taking part, and to our teams for the care and intention behind this collective effort.
