The Art of Ashtrays (Pt. 2) 🚬
Before they were tools for the smoker, ashtrays were vessels for the soul. Centuries ago, these heavy bowls held sacred incense and sage for ritual ceremonies, built for reverence, not convenience. Today, the ashtray is a design icon in its own right. Despite the global decline of smoking, it remains a centerpiece of interior culture, evolving from a functional necessity into a purely aesthetic statement.
