On the drawing they're a simple detail. In reality, they're weeks of prototyping, us, the designer, and the joiner working through dimensions, material thickness, how it sits next to the joinery, what the finish does under light.
Then the welding. Slowly, by hand. Too much heat and the profile bends. Bend it and the piece is done. There's no fix that doesn't show.
High-end hospitality isn't just the food. It's how you feel in the room. And how you feel in the room is the sum of a lot of small decisions that most people never notice.
