Looking back at GROWING INWARDS AND OUTWARDS WITHOUT A CLEAR PATTERN by Aitor González.
The book focuses on the medium of drawing which is integral to the artist’s practice. Drawings relate to our very first experiences of making art: the first childhood notebook, inks and pencils. Drawings rely both on collective memory and individual perception: the objects and creatures they depict grow into many forms and awaken different things in different viewers. Across the series of drawings, shared emotions arise: joy, sadness, longing. We are used to seeing these as something simple, the primary colours of existence – yet each carries a complex imprint of who we are. The drawings in the book reflect on the experience of growing up as a queer person of colour in a predominantly white environment and explore the themes of family, memory, belonging, immigration, queerness, desire, non-linear narratives and hybrid identities.
With an essay on the artist’s work by Anastasiia Fedorova.

1990 WESTWOOD Blvd. by Yann Faucher and Adam Winder documents training days in a wrestling school in Los Angeles. The series captures the dichotomy between the apparent brutality of this combat sport and the camaraderie, vulnerability, and closeness that emerge from the group’s interactions on and off the mat.
“There’s a genuine intimacy between two men on the mat together; with its yielding, almost gentle softness, it carves a space for physical proximity and intimacy that feels rare. But the connection is fragile, a tension that’s always in danger of being pushed to the breaking point”
–Sam Moore

An extract from TENDERNESS by Aaron Moth.
Aaron Moth explains that “the sexual act is one of the most beautiful experiences that connects two people”. The sensual cohesion of this series perfectly translates this apparently simple idea. If the curated imagery is its explicit expression, the carefully selected shapes and beautifully tarnished shades unifies this series in an evocative sense of poetry. The gentleness in this body of work contrasts with the rawness of the source of the material: vintage adult photography and discarded book covers found in the streets of Berlin.

AUGURY by Daniel Rampulla explores the subjective truth of photography. This new series acts as a year diary in Rampulla’s life and delves into the art of constructing alternative memories. Unravelling decisive moments rather than reducing them to a single photograph, Rampulla weaves together fragmented parts, revealing a new reality that defies the limitations of photographic memory.
His work is accompanied by a written response by American writer and poet, Kyle Dacuyan.

A few images from RESIDUAL BODIES which explores vintage erotic print culture through the textures of reproduction – halftones, ink bleeds, and fading paper – where bodies dissolve into fragments and queer desire lingers as residue in the imperfections of clandestine prints.

IMPRESSIONS OF MEN by Richard Kilroy explores the delicate balance of precision and suggestion. This 204-page collection spans five years of drawings that celebrate the male form by blending meticulous detail with intentional minimalism. Kilroy captures a discreet intensity that explores intimacy, queerness, and the nuanced beauty of desire.
