Project Update: Tennyson Point We’re pleased to report that the formwork for the second-stage upper roof is now complete. This impressive feature spans 7.5 meters above the main living area and spiral staircase, seamlessly integrating with the S-shaped spiral off-form wall. The upper roof’s main feature is its 800-radius curved internal and external northern elevation, which extends from the front to the rear of the building. This striking curve will be visible both internally and externally, creating a unique design element. To complement this feature, we’ve also incorporated a round skylight that will flood the off-form wall and spiral staircase below with natural light. The slab edges and soffits will all achieve a high-quality off-form concrete finish look, with a 50mm 300 wide perimeter drop beam to house future flush finished battons, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal of the project. The design features four reinforced concrete slabs (including the roof) and allowed for the removal of a corner column near the main window, creating a clean, open façade and uninterrupted views without compromising structural performance.
