seriously no words but ill try. nothing short of metamorphic. learned so much, following closely new friends and non human teachers, both of which there were many many many. this place changed me in ways immeasurable, and brought back my magic, my intuition, and my trust in myself and this world to recalibrate.

tdov, in 2026, trying to find words - feels like reaching into my stomach and feeling around in the dark for but ill say this -
i love you - to my trans family, even if i havent ever met you, and i am grateful to each and every 1 of you for your existence. thank you for teaching me how to exist myself.
nature is change, and we are nature. nature cannot be stopped
lately, ive been reminiscing on my time at @shortrunseattle trailer blaze (almost this time last year). thinking again back to short run the following november, sharing a joint with molly and sunny, saying how strange it feels like no time had passed since TB - or rather the time passed, and so many things happened and the world felt so different, but i immediately felt right back there with them at sou’wester. and now suddenly its past the hard winter and thawing spring time again. the past year has been such a 🌪️🌪️ i truly barely can keep up, some of it very good, and trailer blaze one of those very good things. i came home and did a gfm and had surgery like a month after the residency and never really got to reflect until now!
at TB so much happened internally and in community in such a short amount of time, my entire practice turned on its head, this book im now working on in its fetal stages on those beaches - and all thanks to my comix friends that i made there in the PNW - flying kites and doing doughnuts in the sand, studio visits in our trailers, over cooking communal meals, or in the secret space of the sauna <3 thank you @kefroh for the gift that is the connection with these sweet souls. i think about them and that very short long week and my heart feels full
