April self portraits I struggled with more than I can say in this little fucking box. I probably have close to 7 hours invested in this 1 photo and could absolutely take another 7. There is so much I would love to change, rework, walk away and come back to, throw in photoshop and see what happens. But in truth, the progress of the month’s work and the result of at least 1 photo a month was literally the purpose of this entire challenge. Being happy I have a pretty kick ass result in general seems reasonable 😂
I appreciate more than I can say the positive words and recognition for my work/progress’. If you’re in my immediate bubble, you know I am always preaching about pouring into yourself, working hard on things that make you happy, trying to spent more time on those things. Pouring into yourself gives you the ability to pour into the rest of your life. Gives you a cup full and a cup filling.

March was alignment, profound honesty, undeniable progression.
It was leaning further inward; If you could imagine a version of you that is the most “you”, find them and let them fucking shine. Let them guide you, love you, heal you, breathe life back into you.
May April bring the light and illumination necessary for the journey ahead.

February felt like an inhale and exhale. But a much needed breath, indeed.
If January were an awakening, February would be the acknowledgement of slumber. Focusing on March being the recoil.
This journey so many of us are on, is not an easy one. There are parts we seldom share or work so hard on “keeping together”. I’m finding that letting everything fall where it needs to and allowing the board to clear itself has served me greater than death gripping my pieces. I pray to keep being this person so allows rain to dampen my core, with full awareness that the sun is always on my side to dry me.
May March be your recoil, as well.
⭐️My lie last month was I actually managed a woman’s basketball team. And that’s where my experience in assisting and managing began.
