Folly Ghost is a Brazilian DJ and sound artist based in Berlin. His tracks are a collection of seductive rhythms with a fierce bass that set the mood for a celebration of bodies. He navigates a wide spectrum of sounds, such as House, Ballroom Music, Gqom and beyond.
Influenced by his upbringing in Rio de Janeiro, many sub-genres of Baile Funk are often featured in his sets. Yet, Folly Ghost’s commitment is not to genres, but to summoning spells of lust and delight in the shape of soundwaves.

In a time of escalating tensions of political, social, and existential order, too many of us are no longer living, but merely surviving. This context paved a brutal road that ends in nihilism and lack of hope for many of us who couldn’t see another path to cross, resulting in a great challenge to envision alternative futures. We believe dreams are our most intimate rebellion: a space where reality is fluid, where new worlds are born before we dare to live them.
With a passionate desire of inhabiting new realms, Folly Ghost has invited sound artists Chali and Aduni to present a joint sonic interpretation of their dreams, murmurs, nightmares or lucid epiphanies in a two-hour long live performance. This will be preceded by Folly Ghost’s DJ set, serving as a portal for the audience to enter an oneiric state of mind.
This event is the result of a sonic translation of the artists’ dreams in the morning after their nocturnal gatherings, in which they share aspirations and wishes for themselves and the world. We welcome you to a temporary refuge where fragility and defiance live together in music. Welcome to Loud Dreams.

INTRO TO DJ WORKSHOP
🎶 - This workshop is designed for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of DJing with a focus on electronic music and club performance. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the essential techniques and tools using professional club-standard equipment such as CDJs and Mixers under the guidance of the experienced DJ Folly Ghost in a supportive environment. By the end of the workshop, you will have the opportunity to practice live mixing, receive direct feedback, and leave with a clear understanding of how to continue developing your skills.
