may is mental health awareness month 🫶📚 sometimes the best thing you can do is put your phone down, wander a bookstore, and touch some books for a while. we’ll be here. how reading can improve your mental health: 📓 it increases knowledge and solidifies previously learned information 📓 it can reduce stress and anxiety and takes your mind away from other things happening in your environment 📓 reading helps you develop empathy for others 📓 reading can work your brain and prevent memory loss 📓 reading can provide community, through book groups, discussion forums, and social media
