Had to bring it to the feed... OF COURSE! 😉
Really proud to have worked on this as the Production Coordinator 🕺🏽. To say getting this show made was a challenge would be a massive understatement. Because of its sensitive themes, you had to really thank God whenever you got a really good contributor (interviewee) and then pray they don't change their mind or pull out last minute (as was the case a number of times).
I remember my colleagues saying this was definitely the toughest the company had ever had it with contributors.
But your girl loves a challenge, as you know! 😉. Plus producing in Nigeria was good practice, TBH. Guests pulling out last minute was something I quickly became very familiar with during my 5+ years of running a live TV show. Imagine getting a call 10mins to going live that your celebrity guest couldn't make it anymore because of really bad "traffic" (AKA woke up late and decided they couldn't be bothered to show up anymore 😂☻️). Gist for another day sha, lol. Point is, the show always went on so this was going to be no different.
Armed with the determination to get it done by fire by force, people skills, hardwork, and lots of prayers and consulting God for help, we got there in the end! 🕺🏽🙏🏾
I really really enjoyed 'Line of Duty' as a series so I was beyond delighted to be a part of this. Imagine my joy when we got lead actor Martin Compston - my fave from the LoD series - to do the voiceover!
'The Real Line of Duty' is now airing on Amazon Prime. Hoping you give it a watch! 😁😍✌🏽

It's my final day on this film.
Mixed emotions, for sure.
I'm excited to go on to my new job/new role but also feeling really sad to be leaving the Universal team.
To show how sad they are that I am leaving, they covered my desk in black table covers😂, got some tulips and got me a customised pair of Nikes🥲.
If you know me, you'd know that the little things mean a lot to me. I almost shed a thug tear.
Despite my years of experience in Nigeria, I spent a whole year job hunting before this job came. As you can imagine, it was a challenging year - I knew God was very much in control but the 'no's were still very hard to swallow. I'd be lying if I said there weren't moments of self-doubt, of impatience, of 'God, when?'.
Then this job came.
A chance to be a Production Trainee on a huge film! "So me sef don enter Hollywood, just like that??" It felt like a dream. Even as I type this on my final day here, it still feels like a dream.
And now, a challenging year that seemed like it would never end has opened doors of other opportunities. Now, na dem dey rush me lol.
God hears our loud prayers and our silent heart whispers...and He listens, too. I really couldn't have planned my life's journey as well as He has.
I can't talk about how much of a beautiful experience the last few months have been without talking about how AMAZING, loving and full of grace my team members have been, especially my bosses. I don't think I'd ever forget the fact that some of the top people (hierarachy-wise) on this film were actually the nicest and most down-to-earth people! Nobody be celeb for here; we are all here to work. Everyone is treated as a person first before anything else. That can be quite rare to find in some workplaces, and I loved finding that here.
Family for life! ❤️
Really looking forward to seeing my name in the credits on not one but TWO films! 😳😩😱❤🙏🏾🙏🏾
Na God direct this one sha!

PART 2.
By November 2026, I would have been living in the UK for 5 years 🤯 - INSANE, Bro!
I met up with a fellow creative last week and us trading industry stories over coffee led me to reflect deeply on my journey here so far.
The journey hasn't always been easy - but it was necessary. I see how helpful @4thecredits has been for the members of our community and I'm grateful that I went through those difficult times so that others won't have to. God always has a bigger plan/picture. With Him, no suffering is ever wasted.
So, this week, I'll be sharing a bit about my journey. Stay tuned. The 'tori longggg but I'll try to keep it short and sweet 😅.

SWIPE!
We've hit 100 community members in 4TheCredits!
Wow!
A dream to empower immigrant creatives has blossomed into this growing circle of creatives, collaborators, and believers in shared progress.
For at least 2 years prior, I had carried this burden of wanting to lighten the load for fellow immigrant creatives, but couldn't quite figure out how to do it. So, I kept praying, and 4TheCredits came! 🙏🏽
A few achievements since launching 8 months ago:
•100 community members,
•Many job opportunities, resources, and industry tips shared,
•Held masterclasses with UK TV/Film industry experts,
•Members have collaborated on a number of projects,
•We produced the first official 4theCredits project as a collective (a short film with 85% of the crew being 4TheCredits members),
•Launched the 4TheCredits Academy to empower our members who have a passion for training,
•And most recently, we joined IG (@4thecredits ).
...And many more plans in the works.
Grateful for everyone who has engaged/continues to engage and contribute to what this is becoming.
