The e36 restoration update. It’s been 4 years and we are almost there! Right before I sent this 328is off to @streetstylegarage I had done a motor cleanup and reseal (Check out part 1 of a little series on my youtube @focusedandfitted ).
I had just got back home from a labor day trip to Alabama. Got the rest of the front end chopped off and built the partial tube front end. The amount of work that went into straitening this body out is absolutely unreal. I was worried when I picked this up that it was going to be un-savable… It was totaled. It was meant to be crushed. Front frame rails were jacked, the driver side was smashed in, and the rear end was twisted. It was toast. I cannot stress how good this man is at body work. He saved the E36. Thank you Cory for your willingness to tackle this mess of a car together.
Put in a ton of work on the GTI this weekend. All preventative maintenance knocked out with of course some great improvements. Entire SAI and EVAP system removed, Forge Turbo Inlet, timing belt, tensioners, pulleys, spark plugs and Bosch Red Top coil packs. This little car rips. 🤙🏼
