Finally sharing our bachelor project with you 🖤
The font “Type Treasury” was created in a dialog between us two. Using a sticker set of simple geometric modules, we pushed the limits of the modular system. The result is a collection of diverse characters that functions as a modular font and can be combined with each other as desired. The “Type Treasury” combines a readable basic style, 10 expressive sets, an experimental initial set and a set with a wide variety of arrows.

And we still have plenty of them!
Since 2024 is already two months old, we decided to sell them for only 5€ each (shipping is extra but inside Germany only 1,70€- ish) and donate the whole amount of the proceeds to @seawatchcrew
So if you need to decorate your wall and support our lil’ charity initiative make sure to grab one of them until we run out
If you’d like to donate more than 5€ of course you are always welcome to.
After we sold the calendars we will post in our stories how much we raised and send the total amount directly to seawatch.
Side note : Some of the calendars do have some small imperfections, we hope that’s ok 🥹

„Type Tinkery“ — the publication. You can find the results of the first game of the 7m long playground in the publication!
Alongside the tools for each game, the playground gets cut and folded up into the publication to explore the shapes that were created.

„Type Tinkery“ in aaaction
Last semester @fmliebhardt and me created "Type Tinkery", which is a tool to playfully design letters together. There are several games on the paper roll, each offering a new way to create type shapes together.
"Type Tinkery" can serve as a playful introduction to typeface design, or as inspiration for new shape compositions that can later be transformed into a whole typeface.
