⌚ ARRIVAL: Arrive 2 hours early, especially during peak travel times and days (including early morning hours, anytime Thurs–Sun, and holidays).
‼️ ONLINE PARKING AVAILABILITY: Real-time parking availability is on our website! Before you arrive, check to see how many spots are available in the short-term, long-term, and economy lots. -Link in bio!
🚙 PARKING: The short and long term lots often reach capacity during peak travel days. The economy lot (140 Frederick Lopez Road) is open 24/7 with shuttle service every 15min. Even better: catch a ride from a friend, grab a taxi/rideshare service, or utilize @santabarbaramtd and ride The Wave!
💻 FLIGHT STATUS: Check with your airline directly for current flight status.
🚧 CONSTRUCTION: Ongoing construction may impact Highway 101 and 217. Please allow for extra time to account for potential detours and delays.
🌤️ WEATHER: Keep an eye on the weather forecast. Inclement weather systems can potentially impact flight operations.
🚘 PICK UP: Picking up loved ones? Remember: parking at the curb is not allowed. Please utilize the two nearby scenic cell phone lots while you wait.

💐Surprise! Mother's Day came early at SBA! Passengers were greeted with a pop-up flower stand, card making station and @therapydogssb to celebrate Mother's Day and take a sweet bouquet to a loved one. Thank you to our partner @gottisgarden who had a beautiful display for everyone to build their own arrangement!

🫶SBA LOVES therapy animals! Today is National Therapy Animal Day so we obviously invited all our friends from @therapydogssb to surprise passengers and ease their travel stress. Plus a very special friend @roguerivertherapydog celebrated his 6th birthday 🎂🥳

🤩Hellllllooo San Diego! SBA welcomed the return of nonstop service to @sandiegoairport on @alaskaair in SoCal style. Passengers were surprised with beautiful handmade cookies from @3cubscookies , swag items from SBA and Alaska Airlines, @skate0five roller crew, @cityofsb Councilmembers, @visitsantabarbara and @sbscchamber , and of course, Airport Director Chris Hastert, Alaska Airlines Manager Adrienne Phillip and the whole SBA team.
🌎Happy Earth Day! SBA staff participated in a special beach clean-up to help beautify Goleta Beach, just down the road from the Airport. This beach is connected to Goleta Slough - a wetland habitat that comprises about a half of the Airport property. This area is home to an abundance of flora and fauna and holds significant history for the Chumash people. SBA is proud to fund the Goleta Slough Management Committee, working in cooperation with local partners and environmental groups to manage this protected coastal area.
