That's how Alan D. Wapner, President of the Ontario International Airport Authority Board of Commissioners and Ontario Mayor pro Tem, summed up last week's big news about the launch of our ONT Bold Program.
The ONT BOLD Program aims to give your airport a number of world-class upgrades: a new terminal to support domestic and international travel routes, renovated and revitalized existing terminals, a new parking garage, optimized roadways and modernized infrastructure throughout.
“As demand continues to grow," Wapner said, "we have a responsibility to ensure ONT remains convenient, accessible and ready to connect the Inland Empire with the world.”
ICYMI, we reached a major milestone for this vision Thursday with the release of a Notice of Preparation of a Draft Environmental Impact Report. This formally launches the environmental review process for ONT BOLD under the California Environmental Quality Act.
“This is the first step in a transparent and collaborative effort to shape ONT’s next chapter,” Wapner said. “We’re committed to listening, engaging and building an airport that reflects the strength and aspirations of our community and our airline partners.”
