Two weeks ago, I had the honor of donating some time, effort, and resources to the communities of Fort Lauderdale, Port Charlotte, St. Petersburg, and Tampa, Florida.
Operation There They Go was created with the goal of reaching out to as many communities as one can within a very short period of time. I managed to donate a pair of highly coveted Crocs to a very fortunate individual.
The guys that are tagged played a huge role in Operation There They Go. We had fun in the name of giving back. Be on the lookout for the next community outreach event. You already know that @delta provided top notch travel vibes.

🥇 @theseedbeer | Atlantic City, NJ 🥇
February 2023 was a CRUCIAL beer run that included the “Philly Beer Run” but actually began with my trip to the Atlantic City Convention Center for a conference. Because it’s pretty close to Philly and that’s where I flew into to drive to Atlantic City, I didn’t thoroughly research breweries in Atlantic City. I was thinking about hittin’ the casino to throw some 🎲🎲, to be fully transparent (which I also did lol).
In any case, believe it or not, I was driving around the area and happened to find one of my brother’s FAVORITE breweries - The Seed: A Living Beer Project! I saw the sign, the graffiti wall, and still couldn’t believe it lol.
At that point, unfortunately my brother had passed but my first instinct was to call him and then of course grief hit me immediately. So I had to take a quick moment to collect myself, wipe away a few tears, and head into one of the dopest breweries I’d ever visited.

“Philly Beer Run” | February 2023 (Part 4)

So once upon a time, I thought all lagers were all so similar that there was really no need for exploration. Honestly, at one point, I didn’t even really consider them “craft beer”. I specifically reserved that title for IPAs, BA stouts, sours & wild ales. Hopefully we can all agree that’s not the case and I was just ignorant to a whole world of brews that I currently drink more than almost any other beer.
In any case HR is one of my personal favorites, as they are to so many, simply because they do good work and their team is extremely welcoming! It’s been great seeing them pop up during @tampabaybeerweek and I look forward to their tap takeovers & collaborations with the good folks at @barriehausbeerco_tampa (another personal favorite).
I’m really grateful to that one bartender at Victory Brewing whose name escapes me but who ADAMANTLY and HIGHLY recommended I check out Human Robot. I’m paraphrasing but he basically said “don’t leave Philly without going to HR - it’s just bad judgement and you’ll regret it, even if you go another time because there’s a chance they may never make the beer that’s on tap right now”.
So when I left Victory, I had to immediately “Respond / React”… and the rest is history!🫡🍻💯

#TBT A beer milestone, this was the first time I’d ever been in an OH brewery / taproom. And don’t judge me but, full transparency up until this point back in February 2023, I had no idea OH actually existed outside of NY. Again, no judgements please🤦🏾♂️🤣
This location had been open for a full year but for some reason it wasn’t poppin’ up on Apple Maps when I was plottin’ my “Philly Beer Run” from my hotel in Atlantic City. I always map out a run before I travel & touch down anywhere.
So yeah, pretty sure I was leaving Mainstay Brewing and RANDOMLY passed OH like “hol’up😳that’s Other Half?!”🤯
Long story short, I copped:
- 4 or 5 half pours at the bar (🍻TOP SHELF🍻)
- an OH sniffer (which I gave away in a Free Raffle)
- a couple 4-packs (which I shared with the homies)
- an OH crewneck (which is also TOP SHELF b/c it’s heavyweight but it hangs like a long sleeve T-shirt)🤌🏾
And the rest is history🫡🍻
