today i was thinking of all the things we planned on doing “once the lockdowns lift”
i’ve done a lot of them! even if we didnt do them together you’re still with me
i think it was one of the days i visited you when you were telling me about billie eilish and how you could appreciate her artistry even if it wasn’t necessarily the type of music you’d listen to, and i think about that when i encounter things in media
that was something i recalled today, and i wish i could have picked your brain again when it came to music and pop culture happenings.
every once in a while i get crumpled up about my feelings, and it gets heavy, some days more than most
but you know what we keep chugging on ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

1st was for my sibling’s masquerade ball, inspired by the white rabbit and queen of hearts from alice in wonderland
- fuzzy wire, acrylic paints, pastels, markers
2nd was a recreation of the mask on the 3rd slide, which is an old torture device(?) the “pins” are removeable
- foam clay, poster pain

this is a coin in a different campaign that we acquired early on, but it remains veiled in mystery
it’s gold and has a gilded egg on one side, and on the other a goose encircled by “non occidite anserem, qui ova aurea”
(badly) translated latin of “kill not the goose that lays eggs of gold”
in our last session someone wanted it as part of an exchange, but we said no… wonder how that interaction will affect the rest of our adventure…
