@psmyleind ( Psmyle Productions ) and
@flowstormtx present the slam dunk intro to the 2026 recap.
Flowstorm was truly an experience to behold. At the gate, we had nothing but smiles and friendly faces to welcome guests. First impressions make or break a festival. Frannie and her team were wildly patient with me while I finished purchasing my parking and camping passes, talking about what acts and days they were most excited for. That’s what I want to see from a greet team - excitement and insight.
My take on that conversation?
The fire. I was BUZZING to see how all the performers lit the night ablaze. Feet moving, arms waving, artists weaving between one another; I was far from disappointed as the sun receded each night.
Flame is just a taste of the experience. The kitchen staff cooked 2 phenomenal meals each day. Dish crew kept everything flowing smoothly, between and even during meals, and a number of bands and dj’s were throwing down day and night as workshops were in full swing.
Flowstorm wasn’t just about the fire, it was about the connection. Artists from, truly, around the world gathered and became union of artistry and skill, sharing knowledge and experiences to better their own crafts and interpersonal relationships.
This was the best festival I have ever been to. It had all the stops and then some. The extraordinary piece of it all? This is run by volunteers. In exchange for tickets, volunteers offer their services and time to create a glowing atmosphere that will last in at least my memories for years to come.
I was there, capturing the whole thing, the whole time. I have plenty to share. Memories for all to recount and keep.
