We had a great turnout for last night’s happy hour volunteer trail work session on the new Emerald Downhill Trail (emphasis on the ‘happy’)! 😃💚
Motivated volunteers took to the trail to patch in rock sections, trim back spring growth, remove spoke-catching roots, and pack down these sweet new berms!
Huge thanks to @flowrideconcepts and @cityofsteamboat for letting RCR be a part of this awesome new project! Fingers crossed for just a few more weeks of work until ribbon cutting time! 🎀

@flowrideconcepts will be on-site most of the summer working the terrain into a chunky flow for your riding pleasure - completion is slated for fall '24, contingent upon many variables. This project is happening thanks to collaboration between RCR and the @cityofsteamboat 🤟 the designation and establishment of additional user-specific and directional trails is a goal of the current Emerald Mountain Master Plan, and this trail will continue efforts to improve user experiences on our local gem 💎🏔️
