Move beyond shapes, technique, and expectations.
“Zone of the Unknown” is an open-level contemporary dance and improvisation class exploring embodied movement, release technique, skeletal awareness, and creative expression through guided improvisation.
Together we investigate movement from the inside out — dancing from the bones, exploring spontaneity, presence, fluidity, and connection in space. Through playful tasks and organic choreography, the class blends contemporary dance, somatic movement, improvisation, and partnering influences into a dynamic and intuitive practice.
Led by Leila — freelance dancer, movement artist, and yoga teacher with an international background in contemporary dance, improvisation, acting, and partnering.
