I am proud to be trans non-binary, and I want to dedicate this post to all of the trans kids who never got to feel the acceptance from their family, especially the BIPOC trans folks. No matter how harshly your family has treated you — know that you are loved. I want to dedicate this post to all the trans and nonbinary babies who took their own lives, or who have been ostracized their whole lives, or who were brutally m*rdered and harmed by people who could not accept and understand them. I want to dedicate this post to the trans folks unable to medically transition, to the trans folks that are houseless, to the trans folks that are SWs, to the trans folks dealing with substance abuse, to the trans folks experiencing domestic violence/intimate partner violence, and to the trans folks dealing with mental health and rebuilding their lives after abuse. I want to bring love and visibility to them all — from whatever walk of life they came from and to honor their memory and the life they gave or are continuing to give to us. And to honor and uphold those who are still suffering, alone, confused, ridiculed, and beaten down. As much as they try to tear us down we will always rise up stronger and they will NEVER EVER be able to take away our joy and our sparkle. ✨ To the trans folks: Know that you are loved and valued far more than you can ever imagine, and know that I am cheering for you and wishing for your moment in the sun.
