really emotional to film this showcasing the magic truck my dad performed magic shows out for over 35 years. he drove this truck all over the country doing shows for “children of all ages”. his path took him to cutting Svengoolie in half and getting to hand-deliver a special trick to Teller, as well as a long career of bringing magic to birthday parties, festivals, and various events all over the place. he lived loud and proud and raised my sisters and i to always look for the magic around us ⚡️

i fell in love with someone and feel so many great things deep in my chest but this is my way of letting them out 💜
the instrumental of this song connects me a lot to my dad, as it gives me this magical feeling for life that he instilled into me as a kid, to look at the night sky and wonder just how far it goes, to look at the fall leaves in excitement for a new a year and reflection of the last, to look at the crackling wink of the bonfire on cherished nights with friends + family. it all intertwines in this whirlwind of magic and love for the person who stole my heart.

2025!! man…. what a year. the past year has been grueling..and a blessing. it feels so weird to turn 26. it feels weird to have holidays without my dad. i’ve cried more this year than i have in my entire life. i played sold out shows, got a new job, ate good food, fell in love, and had a summer off with my family that i’ll cherish forever.
i moved out and can afford an apartment from music. what?! so many things that happened this year are things i’ve dreamt about for years. it’s just wild that the sunny morning comes after the darkest night.
thank you to everyone that’s helped make my 25th year great, and for all of the people that have supported my dreams and moves.

2025 has been nothing short of the biggest year of life, but not necessarily for good reasons. losing my dad in march flipped everything i’ve known about life onto its head. this year has been grueling, emotional, and one i’ll never forget
i’ve tried to keep up but admittedly, it’s been hard to prioritize music and find creative energy when my head is just constantly spinning
i’m so grateful that wherever i’m at, yall are still streaming, still supporting, and still coming out to shows❤️🩹
