Never have I pushed myself so hard in a competition, some of the deepest waters I’ve ever gone into and I’m still recovering.
It’s amazing how strong and capable the human body is and one of the biggest lessons this competition taught me was.
• I can push my body so much farther than my mind thinks I’m capable of.
Happy with my results overall 3rd place for my time in 80m burpee broad jumps and 5th place for 100 wall ball throws each event after a 1km run.
I truly felt that all the years I have spent defending takedowns and sprawling allowed me the speed and consistency needed for the burpee broad jumps 😂💪🏽
Should I do the next one in November and try to beat my time and get 1st for both events?

I always think about how crazy it is that we’re able to train with the top athletes in the world 🌍 you hardly ever see this in any other sport and it’s one of the reasons why the sport is growing so fast.
