As we are approaching the date of the event we’d like to make some important announcements❕❕❕
🗓️ OCT 20th. 12-5pm
As you slide through the post there’ll be info regarding our official judges, new scoring system and schedule for the year.
This new scoring system was introduced to the scene by Daniel during the DC comp then later modified by Evan for the Toronto comp providing a slightly different approach to what we’ve been used to. We’re very excited to use this new system as it ensures everyone’s distinct styles are given an equal opportunity to place in the podium.
We will once again be having team cross step as our beginner-intermediate category and team big spin as the advanced category. You may choose which one you may want to compete in. There’ll also be an entrance fee of $5 dollars for anyone looking to compete. We do advice that you guys get to Golconda Skate Park during registration times so that the process is as smooth as possible.

What’s up everyone, apologies for last week since pier was closed temporary. We will be hosting a meetup on Sunday May 3rd from 3:00pm - sunset at BOROUGH HALL. Located in downtown Brooklyn. We will be posted up right in the center of the park closest to the fountain
There will be another squad there too hosting beginner lessons and delivering good skate ambitions. Pull up and bring any type of board !

this year i wanted to prove to myself that i dont have to learn the most moves to improve as a skater. to be honest, i only learned a few tricks this year and mainly spent my practices being intentional and focusing on style.
overall, im really happy with how this year went. i never started longboard dancing for external goals, but im grateful that the time ive put to this sport has led to such sick experiences.
