Join us along with a smattering of Bay Area presses and publishers at the Small Press Book Bazaar @thelabsf tomorrow from 12-7! We are so thankful to @davidseniorjr and @colpapress for keeping this party going and for everything else that they do to keep independent publishing alive in the Bay and thanks to the Lab for graciously offering their space for what has become one of our favorite events to table. We made a small run of these notebooks - made 100% of paper scraps, leftover coils, and misprints from this year calendar. Assembled lovingly by Ginny and Don 🩵 will be available at our studio sale 12/14!

Next weekend is the annual East Bay Print Sale hosted by @tinysplendor at Max’s Garage. It’s easily the best place in the Bay to pick up some gifts for the holidays. You owe it to yourself to stop by and check out the thousands and thousands of prints available and even if you don’t pick anything up (yeah right) it’s worth it to marvel at the logistical beauty that @pencil.stabber , Max, and all of the volunteers have painstakingly put together year after year.

Ladders: a project we did with incredible artist Mara Ramirez @forever4pm ! We experimented with different print and binding methods to do their work justice and the end result was a really special book. Check it out tomorrow at @sip.alkalirye as we release it into the world! 🪜🪜🪜🪜

Well, one of our biggest fears in making a calendar came true and we messed up not one but two months’ dates 😓. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience, we know it’s pretty annoying to not have a calendar do the thing it’s supposed to do. To try and make it right, we’ve printed up replacement pages that can easily be swapped in that can be shipped to you right away (along with an extra print as a token of our gratitude). If you purchased one of our calendars on our webstore you should have already received an email, if you didn’t get one please DM us or email us at [email protected]. If you purchased one at a fair or from a local retailer, please DM or email us your name and address. If you have already been in communication with us or sent us your address your package has been sent out. We had a batch of these go missing with USPS that we just found out about so if you’ve been waiting a while that’s likely what happened and we just sent another one off to you this morning. Thank you again for the support and sorry we didn’t get it right the first time!
