I’ve neglected my social media account recently. Truth is my arthritis has me knitting a lot less and I haven’t finished anything (but I’m getting close!). In the meantime, machine sewing has been fun and pain free. I had the opportunity to test the newest pattern from @noodlehead531 —the Fieldstone Tote. This tote is such a fun and quickly accomplished project! Comprised of rectangles (easy cutting) and clear directions, with 2 sizes and two construction options, I will never tire of this project. I have the pieces cut for at least 4 more bags! Materials were sourced from the following: Seashore inspired bag: cork from @myhandmadespace and fabric from @urbansewciety (@stylemakerfabrics ) “Hello Alice” bag—collection from @rubystarsociety purchased from various sources. Small modifications—added a magnetic snap to both. Added a crossbody strap to the Alice bag. #ialsosew #memademay #noodleheadpatterns #noodlehead

Meet the Fieldstone Tote! This new pattern from @noodlehead531 is hands down one of the most enjoyable projects to make! I am so happy to have been a pattern tester and cannot wait to sew a few more of these bags! With two sizes and two styles to choose from, I will never get bored of making this tote! Grateful for another great class with the most fun and supportive knitters offered through @doeweknit and taught by @florydori . This was an accessories class. We had our choice of making any one of #dreareneeknits #drkooeygooey designs…#drkooeygooeysocks #drkooeygooeycowl or in my case, #drkooeygooeymitts. This was a great post holiday class. Lots of techniques were taught and, as always, we laughed a lot. I would love to encourage anyone to take these classes that Karen offers. It’s a very kind and inclusive group.
