Introducing the Florens Quartet — Rowan, Evan, Holly & Josh — formed at the Guildhall School in 2023 and recent winners of Guildhall’s St James Chamber Prize. This weekend we are excited to be taking part in masterclasses at the European Chamber Music Teachers’ Association in Tallinn as well as performing Bacewicz String Quartet No. 4!

We were so thrilled to receive an enormous number of applications for this year's programme and can't wait to introduce some brilliant young musicians.

We had a great time in Cambridge recently at the @chamberstudiouk Hans Keller Forum 2025/26. We had amazing Coachings from Donald Grant and Alasdair Beatson, and had a great time getting to know @junaquartet and @trio.musae who made our first course so friendly!!

A bit of Bacewicz from our concert at St James Piccadilly back in June! This quartet won Bacewicz the Liège International competition for composers in 1951, and is probably her best known string quartet.
