We are SO excited to announce our Launch Night edition of 5×5 will be in 4 weeks time today. We are thrilled to announce that we have an incredible lineup of writers — Deborah Frances-White, Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, Elliot Barnes-Worrell, Jess Cole and Julia Grogan, with special guest Jonnie Fielding.

Curated by Charity Wakefield and Florence Keith-Roach, 5×5 is a night of immediate theatre which
brings together five writers to create five brand-new short plays, each sparked by a singular
provocation and performed for the very first time.
Our launch night is shaping up to be an incredible night of theatre, with a post-show panel, DJ, drinks and dancing to close out the evening! 🪩🥂💃🏻
We started 5×5 because in these difficult political and financial times, we believe artists need space to experiment freely, collaborate and make real connections, in person!
After two sold-out word-of-mouth events, we are growing, expanding and proudly launching publicly for the first time.
Each 5x5 is inspired by a different theme and the launch night theme ‘NATURE’ is implicitly important to our chosen venue, the beautiful
@theconduitlondon where a focus on eco-friendly process and communication are part of the fabric of the building. We are proud to be collaborating with
@greenriderorg and
@climate__spring who will join us for our post show panel.
Writers lineup will be announced on Monday and this is a live unfolding process so actors and directors tba— keep your eyes peeled 👀
5×5 is run by people generously donating their time. Every penny of ticket sales goes to covering costs and keeping this going for the theatre community.
