A glimpse behind the scenes through striking backstage photography.
It resonates with my upcoming runway presentation at The Burrell Collection, a perfect example of the amount of artists that collaborate to make exhibitions like this possible.

The Dragon Lace Dress, one of my favourite garments I have ever made in collaboration with MYB Textiles.
The bespoke Dragon Lace design is inspired by The Burrell Collection’s Dragon Carpet (Safavid period, c.1600–1700) and my illustrations. Using Madras lace to create a contemporary interpretation of historic textiles, the design narrates the story of Scotland’s textile heritage, past, present and future. Reflecting the cross cultural connection of ideas between continents.
To be showcased at Return to the Garden at The Burrell Collection - tickets available in bio
