The Burrell Collection has won @kidsinmuseums Family Friendly Museum Award for Best Large Museum 2025! 🌟🏆
This award celebrates museums, galleries and heritage attractions that go the extra mile to provide an excellent family friendly experience. Launched in 2004, the award recognises venues that are the most welcoming, fun, and accessible for families.
We'd like to share a massive thank you to the family judges who visited the museum this year as part of the judging process and to @kidsinmuseums for the shortlist 🙌

One month left! 📢 Glasgow Museums art competition for young people aged 3 – 18 is still open for entries. Visit the Burrell Collection to draw your favourite object on display, or take inspiration from the building itself.
Schools or individual entrants wishing to take part have until Friday 29th May to submit their artworks.

Due to a technical fault, the main doors to the Burrell Collection are currently closed. You can still access the building through the Heritage wing and and the lower ground doors by the restaurant.
