It is official, we are going to Ghana 🇬🇭🎉
This week, our students and families gathered for Ghana Day, the official visa meeting for the Sankofa Study Abroad & Global Leadership Experience.
What made this moment powerful was not just the paperwork or preparation, but hearing the anticipation, emotions, and hopes connected to this journey.
For some students, this will be their first time traveling internationally.
For families, it represents both excitement and trust, the opportunity for young people to experience a different culture, explore identity and history, engage in service learning, and see the world through a broader lens.
Through this experience, students will not only travel. They will reflect, connect, learn, and grow in ways that extend far beyond the classroom.
As we prepare for June, we are incredibly excited for what this journey will mean for every student participating in this year’s program.
