A ribbon cutting didn’t quite fit this special occasion, so @rosevillehstigers celebrated the opening of its new aquatic facility the right way with an inaugural jump into the water. As part of the Roseville High School Athletic Complex project, this phase delivered a state-of-the-art competition pool built to serve student-athletes, staff, and the community for generations to come. We were thrilled to celebrate alongside everyone who helped bring this milestone to life. Here’s to making waves at Roseville High School for years to come.

We loved joining the @smacnasac Sacramento Chapter for this year’s golf tournament. It was a great opportunity to connect with others in the sheet metal and HVAC industry, spend time with peers, and build stronger relationships within the chapter. Thanks to everyone who made it such a memorable day on the course!

FLINT was proud to sponsor two high school student teams in this year’s @cie_foundation NorCal Design Build Competition: @officialcordovahigh and the combined team from Nathaniel Colley, Elinor Lincoln Hickey, and Leo Palmiter High Schools. Our team attended the industry lunch to cheer on both groups before final judging. Leading up to the competition, FLINT also joined the Nathaniel Colley, Elinor Lincoln Hickey, and Leo Palmiter students for a construction careers lunch presentation as they prepared for the event. Always great to see students step into the building process, work through real challenges, and support each other along the way. Proud to encourage the next generation of builders.

The FLINT team showed up ready to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and compete for cornhole victory. Between the food, the laughs, and the chase for the champion trophy, the energy stayed high all day. Some bags landed perfectly; others had their own plan, but that is what made it fun. #FLINTFUN

It’s career fair season! We got the chance to meet so many amazing and motivated young people at various career fairs recently, from @gavilan_college to @laspositascollege to @cmaa.norcal . Always a good time getting out there, meeting people, and having real conversations about where this industry is headed.

FLINT team members joined the Women in Construction Club at @sacstate for an engaging session on VDC and construction technology. More than 20 students attended and took part in a detailed presentation and Q&A. Topics included CAD workflows, Revit coordination, and LiDAR scanning in practice. We value opportunities to share knowledge and support students exploring careers in construction.

We had a great time out on the course at the @chicostate Construction Management Golf Tournament! With two FLINT teams on the green, this one meant a little more. We were able to play alongside four Chico State students who are continuing their path with us, two graduating in May and joining FLINT full time, and two current students who will be interning with us this summer. Great to spend the day with this group. Looking forward to this summer!

It was a pleasure hosting the @cypressgroveelem staff, who will be taking over this campus as soon as we wrap up. Many of these teachers are coming from different campuses and are genuinely excited about the opportunity to be part of this new school community. Showing them their classrooms and hearing their stories made it clear just how much energy and passion they’re bringing to Cypress Grove Elementary. We’re looking forward to bringing it home on July 15. @elkgroveunified

FLINT showed up to Tipsy Putt in Sacramento ready to compete and kept the energy high the whole time. Some shots were dialed, some kept things interesting, but that’s what made it fun. Always a good time getting the team together like this. #FLINTFUN

Always great to see the FLINT Adventure Van in action! It crewed 13 runners for a point-to-point training run as they prepare for UTMB Canyons. The group is tackling a wide range of distances, from 15 miles up to 100 miles over the weekend. We'll be cheering them on during their race on April 25.

We joined @sjcitycollege and our partners to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Career Education Complex. This space was designed with students in mind. By bringing classrooms, labs, and trade programs into one shared environment, the complex creates more opportunity for collaboration, exposure, and growth. SJCC Students can see what’s possible, learn by doing, and build confidence in the skills they’ll carry into the workforce. By keeping every part of the project connected from start to finish, we delivered a cohesive environment that’s ready to support the next generation of the workforce. Proud to deliver this project alongside an incredible team: San José - Evergreen Community College District, @sjcitycollege , @steinberghart , @brailsford_and_dunlavey , JGM, Interface Engineering, Inc., @miyamoto_international , @siegfried_engineering , @nv5.inf.fl , @verdedesigninc , Suniya Malhotra, @webbfoodservicedesign , @cupertinoelectric , McMillan Data Communications, @wscarpenters , @silicon_valley_mechanical , and @bagatelos_glass .

Students came back to @gavilan_college for Part Two of FLINT’s Construction Immersion Series, building on the momentum from our first session. This time, they took a deeper look at mechanical, electrical, and plumbing integration into the building. Thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible: Pedro Avila gavilanprezi and Serafin Fernandez at Gavilan College; Christian Cusella of GLS Inc.; Frank Pinedo of Aurum Consulting Engineers; Ryan Boardman of @silicon_valley_mechanical ; and Andrew Seymour of @jkae_design for sharing their knowledge with the students. Excited to keep the learning going in the next session!
