Flinders Fringe Festival is excited to support the regional tour of Sea Wolves Howl with this critical fundraiser to pay the creative team for rehearsals (including onboarding our new touring musician) and to redesign the set so the show can land powerfully in venues large and small.
Sea Wolves Howl is vivid, big-hearted theatre—created from the true stories of a remarkable group of female and non-binary cold-water swimmers who found each other through a daily dip and built a community. Older female and gender-fluid performers stride onstage in their togs, speaking and singing the words of people whose lives have been changed by getting wet, wild and wonderfully connected.
Commissioned by the Flinders Fringe Festival in 2024, the work has already found audiences across Victoria—and a 14-show tour in the second half of 2026. Box office will cover the touring costs; what it won’t cover is the paid time artists need to do the work well.
Please donate to help keep this joyful, life-affirming story of community and connection on the road—at a time when many of us are feeling isolated and divided. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

🩵What a weekend. What a community!
Flinders Fringe 2026 has come to a close, and we’re feeling incredibly grateful.
🩵Thank you to the artists and performers who shared their creativity so generously, to the volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and to the venues, technicians, producers, and crew who helped bring every moment to life.
🩵Thank you to our local providores who kept everyone well fed and watered, and to the businesses and spaces across the village that opened their doors and welcomed the festival in.
💫Most of all, thank you to the people of Flinders and the wider Mornington Peninsula community for showing up, for filling rooms, gathering on the grass, listening, creating, looking, laughing, singing, and celebrating together.
🌊Our sincere thanks to all of our donors and partners; we are beyond grateful.
🙏And as always, the generous support from @ourpeninsula is truly valued.
🫶🏼To our photographers, you capture what the Flinders Fringe Festival truly is, thank you Noa Wolf Smith Fletcher @noafletch , Fiona Pearl @fionapearlphotography , Sarah Koch, @the.saltywoman , Roe Bonnici @roebonnici and Rosa Mar Tato Ortega @rosa.mar.tato.ortega.art

What a morning we had at the Village Common for Fringe 2026! 🌿
💫The heart of the Fringe truly came alive, buzzing with music, creativity and community spirit, all in the surrounds of our beautiful Village Common.
🩵Thanks to the incredible support from the Mornington Peninsula Shire @ourpeninsula we were able to bring together an amazing mix of performances, workshops and pop-up moments that had everyone wandering, laughing, creating, and connecting.
From the Welcome to Country by @jillianwest_indigenoustraining to the You and I exhibition, DJ @silverrstarr___ , Coach Mon @coachmon.fun , @itsmemaxon@lizwalkerart free “Fish on the Fringe” workshop, and people playing the Adaptation Game. Face painting, kids’ crafts, comfy beanbags, and open spaces invited everyone to pause, play, and soak up the festival vibes the Fringe is known for!
A joyful, vibrant snapshot of what makes this festival special, a place where the village gathers, and creativity spills into the open.
Thank you to our artists, volunteers, and the local community for making it unforgettable.
See you in 2027!
