Soho run done!
The Downstairs at
@sohotheatre was the first space in London where I saw comedy outside of all the scintillating open mic gigs I'd moved here to play. I remember thinking "I'd love to do a show here one day."
It was as fun as I'd always hoped it would be. Absolutely bowled over by the amazing audiences, and so proud of what we achieved in that space.

The show will be back for a UK tour in the new year (news on that soon!) but for now I'm putting it on the shelf and not thinking about it for the first time in 18 months, so I want to extend a huge, huge thank you to everyone who made it happen:
@jonbrittain87 director - went so far above and beyond, so thrilled to finally make a full show together
@mirandaholms art director & creative consultant - the best brain to have on a project, I love making work with her
@queeniemiller_ producer - such passion and belief in the show, she's going to take over the world and I'm here for it
James Hingley (not on social media) tech in Edinburgh - such a reassuring companion every day of the month and made it run so smoothly
Jake Wood (not on social media, techs hate social media) tech in Soho - one of the best people in comedy, so happy to finally work together
@grace__gibson movement director - I never know how a show really feels until Grace has helped me work out how I move through it.
@flickmorrispr publicist - always smashes the enormous job of getting people to hear about the show and is always such a joy to work with
@brightybuoy creative collaborator - Christian was instrumental in devising the Karl section and is such a brilliant collaborator and brings such good ideas.
@hollusc agent and ceaseless adviser - after all our years of working together, this show feels like the most exciting thing we've done yet and I'm so grateful for her help getting it here, and to
@ewan_ward
@garlandsteve @tamtam152 and the whole
@ebdonmgt gang
Thank you all so much, and thank you to everyone who came to see the run. It'll be back in 2026 if you missed it!
Now for the difficult process of figuring out what you do next after you've completed your life's work...
