Kullabo is a place. A summer house in the forest where the only neighbour is nature. Birds, and if you are lucky, cows pass by.
This is where @fleyman brought us together to record my new album, Stardust In Valleys.
I’ve never experienced living with my songs like that before, waking up and falling asleep with them day after day. No noise just us in a house by a small lake. I took in every second of it.
It was simply magical.
Dahlia was one of the songs that emerged in the summerhouse. We recorded it live, just me and my guitar, some talented friends and the magic of Kullabo.

New Friday experiment. 3 old Electro Voice dynamics - RE20 on kick, DS-35 on snare (new fav) and 635a OH. Haven’t used the 10” jungle snare in a while, it’s so much fun.
Experiment Friday. Only 2 mics, u47 on kick and m160 on the rest. No eq, no mix. Only through an 1176 for distortion, Masterroom for spring reverb and space echo for delay and into 2 channels in Cubase on 0.
Today’s the release day of ’Iconoclasts’
@annavonhausswolff ’s sixth (!) studio album.
It almost feels surreal to say it. It’s been years in the making and now it’s finally out!
Anna is the epitome of creative expression. Even though we’ve known each other for years her brilliant mind, totally unrestrained creativity and brilliance never ceases to amaze me. I’m so lucky to get to work with my best friend.
I never worked so hard on any project my whole life and I couldn’t be any more proud of Anna and how it turned out.

Swedish composers Anna von Hausswolff and Filip Leyman has teamed up again to score the upcoming drama COUTURE, directed and written by Alice Winocour and stars Angelina Jolie, Anyier Anei, Louis Garrel and Ella Rumpf.
