Roughly 2 years ago I started working on the extension of my original duet 'Embers'. I sadly wasn't able to complete it due to a concussion which took me out for a few months. However, last year I was finally able to pick up where I left off and started the creative process in my second and third trimester, bringing it all to life last month. This piece is special to me as it reflects a time where my 'light was dying out' and I ended up finding new hope because of God's grace and mercy.
Thank you New English Ballet Theatre for the opportunity and to all the hardworking and talented dancers I was able to work with! I also wouldn't have been able to do it all without the help of my amazing husband @benjaminfwella and rehearsal director @jordanjbridge .
The piece is set to and inspired by Max Richters poignant scores Embers and Mercy.
