This past while has been a real rollercoaster of emotions with the end of Bens career and the near arrival of our baby girl.
Amongst all the emotions, I can't help but see the absolute miracle of all of this and God's mercy and grace in our lives.
God has made everything beautiful in its time. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
Ben decided the end date of his career before we found out we were pregnant and the fact that he ended on the 13th of December and our baby is due 23 January..is incredible timing. We get to enjoy these last few weeks together before our lives completely change, and also, I get the support and help of my husband throughout birth and after šš»
The gratitude I feel can't be described. š
šø Thank you @flex.expression for capturing some moments of the two of us together in the studio during this unique and wonderful time.
Two shows down, one to go! So proud of my incredible husband! Savouring each second he has left of the Opera House stage! Words can't describe the emotions this week š«¶ā¤ļø
Thanks for this capture @lahollings

Ashley Shmashley, my darling, my wife, my love, my best friend,
Weāre in it until the end.
2 years in the Lord. In a moment, a mother you will be. What responsibility has been laid before you. As Jesus said, āIt is more blessed to give than to receiveā. And my darling, you are a giver. And you give sacrificially. At great cost.
My love, may your years walking with God be plenty. Filled with joy, love, peace and understanding. I thank you for your faith and I lift you up for your perseverance.
You are an exceptional disciple of Jesus Christ. Thank you for being my wife.
I love you,
Benjamin
About 5 months ago, I did my last performance on The Opera House stage, not forever, just for a little while.
Because....
God has given us a whole new chapter of our lives š«¶š¤°šš@benjaminfwella

I have the best wife.
She is beautiful. She is kind. She is compassionate. She is gentle. She is loving. She is respectful. She is vulnerable. She is strong. She is really beautiful! She is God loving. She is God fearing. She is a woman of integrity. She is actually also absolutely hilarious.
Proverbs⬠ā31ā¬:ā10ā¬-ā12⬠ā
āA wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.ā

Throwback to our incredible honeymoon last year with the best wife in the world @ash_michelle_ella āŗļø
āHe who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.ā
āāProverbs⬠ā18ā¬:ā22ā¬
āEnglandā means the land of the Angles - a tribe whose name may come from a word meaning narrow.
Thereās something poetic about walking these ancient English plains with my wife, as together we try to walk the narrow road Jesus spoke of - the one that leads to life (Matthew 7:14).
Marriage isnāt the easy path. But itās a sacred one - a refining, strengthening, and humbling road. A journey of unity, sacrifice, and purpose. And walking it with her is one of the greatest honours of my life.
