What up fools, looks like today is the day that @officialmotorhead releases the first punk rock tribute album KILLED BY DEAF to honor the great Motörhead and our brother in arms Lemmy Kilmister. Hopefully he’s not rolling over in his grave when he hears this! When we were approached to participate in this great project , Jim immediately told me to jump on vocal duties, knowing that i was a huge Motörhead fan, and that I had enjoyed a few memorable times with Lemmy over the years. I jumped at the chance to be part of something so cool and near to my heart. Lemmy to me, has always been an inspiration in my life as a musician and as a human being in general, his humble yet commanding, no bullshit attitude, was always mind blowing to me, he lived for rock and roll, and while he was always out there running amok, and behaving like a mad man, he always did it with respect and class. From the way he treated fans, band mates, crew guys, producers, and even bartenders, he always carried himself like a true gentleman. He has left an indelible mark on this world of rock and roll with his music and words , and for that he will never be forgotten. Hopefully we made him smile with this one, ( yes, I know my voice sux, but that’s not the point is it?) thanks to all the bands the participated in making this happen. And Cameron Webb.
