Read all about it this World Book Day! Fleet Street Quarterâs Festival of Words returns from 12th â 16th May 2026.
đ
The Festival of Words, sponsored by Landsec and MYO, will bring five days of enlightening and transformative conversations to this historic western side of the City of London. Our theme this year - The Age of Wisdom and Foolishness - takes inspiration from the opening line of Charles Dickensâs, A Tale of Two Cities.
âIt was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness'.
Join us across 45 events as we examine and celebrate what drives our own Age of Wisdom and Foolishness, the ideas - right or wrong - that challenge what has gone before and seek to predict what will come nextâŚ
