We are so excited to announce that following the success of our UK in-person workshops with @christiancardonap in Manchester in 2024 and 2025, we are very proud to announce that Flash Masters will be hosting the incredible @tismanphoto for his two day wedding photography workshop in Manchester in September 2026.
The workshop is strictly limited to 15 places and is exclusive to Flash Masters Pro members.
We will be making the booking link live during a special live stream for Flash Masters members only on Thursday 19th February at 20.00 GMT (21.00 CET) where we will be joined by the man himself, Jeff Tisman, who will talk us through his plans for the workshop.

Watching Christian shooting live is truly witnessing an artist at work. Despite never setting foot in the places we visited l, Christian created stunning image after stunning image in crazy quick time. We were in awe.
We can’t wait for Day 2 when the attendees will putting putting in to practice what they have learned today. It’s going to be amazing!

We all know when it rains you have to have the creativity and the tools to still deliver amazing photos and a great experience for your couples.
Yes, I literally blew this light up! This Neewer Basics GC21B is a great lighting tool you can blow up in a few puffs and have complete control over brightness and color temperature. I simply placed it in the ribs of the umbrella to light my couple and used two bare bulb speedlights placed about 10 feet behind to capture the rain falling behind them.
I am always seeking ways to elevate the client experience, think bigger and differently. Every wedding is different, every couple is different. It’s not about us it’s about them and capturing their personalities and their big day in the best and most dynamic way possible. As an educator I love to share techniques and my thought process to pass on this knowledge to other photographers.

You’re gonna hate this video if directing your clients isn’t your thing, but learning the fundamentals of lighting and posing means that you help your clients feel comfortable in front of the camera and create photos where they love how they look in every photo.
It doesn’t matter how amazing the background is or where the photo is shot, if your client doesn’t love how they look in the photo they’re not going to love that photo.

Shot with an ad200 and 24inch @magnetmod Magbox with a grid. On a @canonusa Canon R5 II with a 24-70 at 35mm f 4.
Creating this double exposure required a sharp silhouette of the groom and a hand-styled triangular frame for the bride. I used a MagSphere bounced off the wall to give her that perfect, soft illumination within the curtains.
Simple setup, stunning results.

20 of my all time favourite wedding speeches photographs ❤️
Speeches can be one of the best, yet also the trickiest parts of the wedding day to photograph. As photographers we can be competing with tight spaces, awkward table positioning or worst of all, bad natural light (I’m looking at you top table facing away from a big bright window behind 🤮😂)
That is why, for the past 10 years at least I have been developing and using exactly the same off-camera flash setup with @magnetmod to light my wedding day speeches. The setup ensures good light whatever the natural light is doing, it works in any wedding venue and allows me to concentrate purely on capturing the moments.
I have been teaching this setup for years at my in-person workshops but for the first time, I have now made an online tutorial detail everything about this setup, and it is available now at @flashmasters
The tutorial is 75 minutes long and is split into 11 chapters, including; why I use this setup, the equipment needed, a full live demo of the setup and lots of real world behind the scenes video from real wedding days of the setup in action.
I have put everything I know about my setup in to this, and I am so proud of it.
