To be Divinely Helped is not the absence of your natural strength or gift but the presence of a supernatural help. It is the realization that by strength shall no man prevail. It is understanding that God’s strength is made manifest in our weakness. So even when we feel we are strong; that strength must be made weak to tap into God’s Divine Strength. When we rely on our ability ; God lets us run the show. The only thing I know my hand is capable of doing on its own is fail. So before I put it to the plough I must ask God to help me. There’s a reason why a stone and a sling was preferred to a sword and a spear. If we must be wise then we must take our foolishness to the God of wisdom. God help Me. He is more willing to help than we are ever willing to ask . When we tap into God’s supernatural help and strength and apply it to our work, then it makes the difference. That’s the story of this shoot and soo many before and after it. GOD HELPED ME. We must need help to position ourselves to get help. Just imagine being Helped by God. No wonder after the shoot we all gathered to say Thank You Jesus” “…. And his name spread far abroad, for he was marvelously helped till he was strong” 2 chronicles 26:15 Thank you Emma for trusting and supporting me over the years. This would always be special experience for me and my team ❤️

I think it’s a blessing to connect with people through the work that we do. From the very first call we received from Ms Olayide to the actual shoot day; she was absolutely pleasant . I’ve always felt that I could use images to describe how I feel about someone especially where words fail me. Sometimes I feel like pictures are my way of writing love letters. Letters to people who mean a lot to me. While COVID came with its ups and downs; mostly downs, God used it to give me a little sister. One that has remained consistent over the years . I keep waiting for her to change or for see finish to enter but she still behaves like the exact same person who reached out and connected with me 6 years ago. Consistency in friendship is a rare trait. I’m understanding this everyday. photographing friends isn’t as easy as it seems. When we create images for clients it’s different. We are paid to work and we somehow use images to connect with them: but When you photograph your friend it’s different. It’s not just work ; I’m not so sure I can fully explain it. I see this play out even with brides and clients who have become friends. The images carry a lot more meaning and depth. It’s almost like an expression . Not so sure I’m making sense sha but you get my drift 😂. Each time Nabila said “I can’t wait to be photographed by you” ; I always politely declined. I didn’t just want it to be another shoot or another image so I would delay granting her request.I wanted it to be special as she’s always imagined it to be. Fast forward to 2024; we finally had the opportunity to create some of my most cherished images of someone who is dear to my heart. Someone who thinks I’m all that even when I know I’m just anyhow atimes 😂 Dear Nabila: I see you and I appreciate you . Thank you for blessing us with these images . Thank you for allowing me to photograph your parents and for adopting me as your Big Brother. I would always always appreciate everything you’ve done. Have an Amazing 2026. GOD BLESS YOU . Big H

We had the pleasure of photographing Ms Omowunmi for her 40th and I absolutely loved the images we created on this day. Sister Momo is calm and very soft spoken ; well so I thought 😂: just wait until she prays for you and you’ll know that there’s a lot of fire locked up in all of that calmness. Thank you so much Ma for letting us create these images of you and your family . You’re amazing. Although I feel like I want to photograph you again . Maybe because I understand you better now. Or maybe I don’t . Maybe that’s why I need another shoot session. Perhaps a window series where we just talk and create images. LOOONG TIME NO POST 😭😭. I’ve decided to share more images in the coming weeks so help me God. Here’s a shoot we did for Ms Adaora for her 40th birthday. I still remember our first shoot and how I left there feeling like “this woman won’t call me again; she definitely doesn’t like me 😂”. I think the issue was that I didn’t understand her, her expressions, her story. Sometimes we just meet people and make so many different assumptions without going through the journey of knowing them. I think She also makes assumptions about me too. She feels I’m too stuck up and I don’t know how to have fun. She’s always saying “BigH Smile; stop frowning; live a little. Stop carrying this first born matter on your head😂”. Well she’s not totally wrong. I need to live a little and not take everything too seriously; but I smile 😭. Sometimes too much sef ☺️. Ms Adaora doesn’t like stress: before I bring out my camera to take pictures she’s read out her fifth amendment “big h you know my back is paining me; please don’t stress me like the last time. She feels my shoots are always full of stress 😭. I’m always searching and going the extra mile for the perfect shot and sometimes it comes off as stress 😭 (sorry to all my clients 🥹😢). So what I’m I trying to say with all this grammar. She came back. She came back even after I said she wouldn’t come back. She keeps coming back, she’s brought so many with her too and she’s been loyal from the very beginning. I didn’t automatically change or become the best thing after sliced bread but she just understands me better now and she knows how to manage me. So many times; that’s what friendships are about. Friendships are about Understanding and not perfection. I think I get her. I see her and I know what her heart beats for. She’s an extremely kind and generous soul. Big Sis. Thank you for seeing me and for always coming back. We don’t take you for granted. IG can’t capture everything I wanted to write but you know how I feel towards you and that’s most important. The Illusion of Time. We always think that we have more time. But the reality is that we don’t; or better still, we don’t know if we do have time or we don’t. Everyday we wake up, our time gets shorter. What are we doing with the time that God has blessed us with. Time is gift. One that we must use wisely while we are still here. Outside this realm; time no longer exists. We must live with eternity in view. Soon we would meet the one that exists outside of time. So while we still have time, let us act wisely. #selah
