I've only shared a few images never posting more than 3 at a time of this session. This was my first time working with a group along with shooting on the train. Won't lie didn't know what I was getting myself into but I had an awesome group of folks to work with. Off camera flash on public train was a crazy combo but we made it happen.

Continuing the countdown & Topping my Easter Parade looks is my personal all-time favorite ensemble to date for its pure drama! I mean who wouldn’t love a good cape?! And one with a built in stand-up pillow collar detailed so intricately with the fabric gathered into embroidered rosettes - gasp - then topped by @chapeaug ‘s custom mint cloche! I’m dead!

This #1920s ensemble is extra special as all pieces were sourced separately yet compliment each other perfectly & represent the culmination of over 2 decades of my collecting #vintage #fashion #vintageootd

I’m clearly living my #mint & sage #green #velvet pastel dream! These #TrueVintage items have survived over 100 years & still shine!

The dress was sourced from @demetravintage just a few months before I found the mint green Parisian Opera cape from @devorevintage & it was like reuniting sisters separated at birth. The color match was uncanny. The ankle-wrap peep-toe shoes are literally the only reproduction item I’m wearing. (Well done Steve Madden for making the Final Cut). Their striped multicolor velvet match the vintage flower corsage & the 1920’s pale pink fingerless long gloves. The jewelry - gifted 20’s jade & jet pendant necklace perfectly paired with my jade flower earrings. If you peek hard enough you’ll see the gold 40’s handbag gifted from @help_me_rhonda_official that match the gold heels.

Besides the luxurious feel of silk velvet on your skin - is there any other velvet - the answer is really NO despite the available poly-blends of today… what I truly enjoyed about this ensemble were all the little details. Have you ever seen such a #flapper dress that keeps giving you a new look depending on what angle you’re viewing?! I included some photos of the back because you MUST peek at the draped & gathered ruffled curtain on my left hip & backside! This gown definitely was designed draped on a dress form because of details like the wrap & gathered back. She is truly a one-of-kind work of art!

This was Easter 2024. I’m wearing a royal blue 1930’s silk gown from @evergreen.finch.vintage that had the most delicate embroidered flowers that Gretchen somehow found a striped ribbon that matched exactly! G your superpowers are unmatched!

I’m wearing #truevintage outer wear & accessories - some of my favorites are the Czech cut glass bobble bell earrings & sweet multi-candy-colored cut glass necklace that also impressively match the embroidery perfectly! #devilsinthedetails I’ve got 1920’s robin’s egg blue lace fingerless gloves & a 1940’s sapphire blue seed-bead & engraved silver handbag. The 1920’s full length black silk velvet opera coat is so soft and in my opinion all other velvets feel cheap in comparison.
