‘Community, to me, means a magical togetherness. There's no need to know each other. We all come from different walks of life, which is such a beautiful thing. And then to sit in one room and to seek a unity. You leave knowing that you have a sense of belonging in the world, even though you may not know each other by name.’ – Abel Selaocoe
Fond memories of the closing concert of Klarafestival, with @abelselaocoe , @brusselsphilharmonic and @kazushionomusic . 🎶

It’s International Jazz Day! 😱❤️
On April 30, the whole world celebrates the 15th anniversary of this iconic day... but here at Flagey, we live and breathe those blue notes all year long.
To mark the occasion, we’re thrilled to unveil the opening jazz concert of our brand new 26/27 season: the extraordinary new duo by @nilspettermolvaer & @taniagiannouli .

What. A. Ride. ✨ Yesterday, the final notes of the festival echoed through @flageystudios . From Stravinsky's Firebird brought to life by @yoflanders , to an intimate listening session filled with sonic gems, to the singular piano world of @romophonic . And saving the best for last: @abelselaocoe and @brusselsphilharmonic performing the incredible cello concerto by @jessiemontgomerymusic . We're still catching our breath from all that beauty. Thank you for sharing it with us! 💥

Anthony Romaniuk’s modes are radical. With a brilliant approach of the keyboard not as an instrument, but as a territory, he relentlessly maps colours with soundscapes. Every piece is a pin dropped on the emotional cartography.
And to @klarafestival ’s question « Where is home ? », Anthony answers : « Blue ».
