Watching @joshuabrownviolinist play Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1 under @ilan.volkov with @yoflanders was absolutely unreal. He was already my favorite during the Queen Elisabeth Competition 2024, but hearing him live for the first time completely blew me away.
The intensity, the precision, the raw energy and passion in his playing… it’s something you feel deep inside.
