A futuristic character concept inspired by Lapland:
The robot’s design is influenced by the Finnish heavy metal scene – and while a mohawk isn’t exactly the standard hairstyle of metalheads, here it works as a bold visual statement.
What role it takes on remains unclear – it no longer fulfills the purpose it was originally built for. Whether it uses its abilities for good, acts out of self-interest, or pursues a destructive path is left open for now.
Originally, it was constructed for iron oxide extraction on the main planet. Over years of mining, a patina of ore dust and oxidized residue has settled on its body, slowly creeping upward

Jåkkuů
Jåkkuů is an ice moon in the Suza system of the Milky Way galaxy. It orbits the planet Puaïsta Hiakaa with a cycle of about 80 Earth days, resulting in pronounced day and night phases each lasting several weeks.
The atmosphere of Jåkkuů has a pressure of around 1 bar and is similar in composition to Earth’s. However, due to its great distance from the sun, sustainable warming is impossible. Even during the extended daylight periods, average temperatures remain below freezing. Heat loss during the long nights is slow, so the surface stays dominated by icy landscapes.
The moon was colonized by Finland in 2133. Today, settlement is concentrated in a circular metropolitan zone divided into multiple centers. Its infrastructure relies on enclosed, climate-controlled habitats.
The central planet, Puaïsta Hiakaa, is a barren desert world with a thin carbon-oxygen atmosphere. Its surface consists largely of iron oxide–rich sediments, giving it a distinctive red coloration. Due to hostile environmental conditions, permanent colonization is impossible; its role is limited to resource extraction, particularly iron compounds.

Naming and cultural inspiration
The name Jåkkuů derives from the Finnish jäätä (“ice”) and kuu (“moon”), referencing the geophysical characteristics of the celestial body. The planet Puaïsta Hiakaa is based on the phrase punaista hiekkaa (“red sand”), describing the iron oxide–rich soil.
The colonial coat of arms and flag draw on symmetrical patterns from traditional North Finnish clothing (Gákti), combined with a variation of the Hannunvaakuna symbol.
