More adventures in Barcelona…including cool bars with David Hasselhoff themed bathrooms (Knightrider & Baywatch) that play the theme songs when you go in and Barbara Ann that played the coolest music and had a Mummies poster on the wall. Oh and a wild parrot who scored some bread and carried it into a tree to eat.

A few shots from our Agriturismo Case Di Latomie (it was really great despite the meowing farm cats bringing Stephanie a mouse in the middle of the night and my getting roped into playing tambourine with two gentlemen playing Sicilian folk music for a group of day visitors) AND the most amazing archeological park, Selinunte.

A failed attempt at wine tasting near Etna led us to the mountaintop village of Castigliano di Sicilia and a castle at the very top. Bonus delicious dinner at a cute little restaurant and dizzying views of the valley.

Way behind in posting but I’m going to keep going. After Palermo we rented a van and drove across the island of Sicily to the small east coat town of Nizza Di Sicilia near the active volcano, Etna. Next up Etna adventures…

On our drive to the east coast of Sicily we ventured to our first treacherous mountaintop villages of Enna where an enthusiastically dedicated lady cared for a church of dead military men and all of the town’s stray cats.

What to say about Sicily? First stop, Palermo! Great drinks and food a super catacombs of capuchin monks who display their dead brothers on the walls. No photos because respect, but wow! W/ @thejimmyboom@cgates@fluffypants007@soundsgoodystudio
