The Reverse of Forgetting
by Nicolás Val
Art, Memory and the Echoes of the Invisible is a four-part exhibition cycle exploring memory as a dynamic and porous field rather than a fixed archive. Through photography, sculpture, installation, and video, the artists trace what remains, resurfaces, and resists erasure, focusing on intimate, fragmented, and marginalized histories. Each exhibition highlights a different mode of memory—spectral images, embodied forms, organic matter, and spatial gestures—inviting viewers to experience memory not as recollection, but as presence, resistance, and echo. Works such as Nicolás Val’s haunting photographic landscapes evoke memory as a threshold where the past murmurs beneath the surface, emphasizing subtle, felt encounters over monumental narratives.
Thanks to the artist, all collaborators and visitors.

May 1st in Berlin
Celebration, Resistance, and Community brings together the city’s diverse energies in a day of political action, cultural expression, and collective gathering. From street demonstrations and labor marches to open-air performances and spontaneous artistic interventions, the day blurs the line between protest and celebration, highlighting the city’s history of solidarity and activism. Our hosted May 1st party continues this spirit, creating a space for music, conversation, and community-building where participants can reflect, connect, and celebrate together. Through dance, performance, and shared experience, the event transforms the evening into a living extension of Berlin’s radical, self-organized culture.
